Nabopolassar 626 BC – 605 BC

After the afterlife of Ashurbanipal in 627 BC, the Assyrian Empire began to disintegrate, burst by centralized strife. An Assyrian general, Sin-shum-lishir, revolted and bedeviled Babylon, but was promptly ousted by the Assyrian Army loyal to baron Ashur-etil-ilani. Babylon was again taken by addition son of Ashurbanipal Sin-shar-ishkun, who proclaimed himself king. His aphorism did not aftermost continued however, and Babylon revolted with the advice of the Chaldean association (Bit Kaldu), led by Nabopolassar. Nabopolassar bedeviled the throne, and the Neo-Babylonian absolutism was born.
